I’ve been applying for Digital Marketing related roles at Google (Gurgaon & Hyderabad, India)— customizing my resume, fine-tuning my profile, doing everything right (at least I thought so) — yet, no interview calls so far.
If you’ve cracked the Google hiring process for roles in Digital marketing or know what actually helps a candidate secure an Interview, I’d love to hear your insights.

I was a contractor for a big company and they just let me know that my last day is December 30th. I got this position thanks to a recruiting company that has been great and gives me benefits.
Should I:
- Continue working with the recruiting company, hoping that they will find another position for me? (as they told me they will, and when they applied me I started working with my current company within 2 weeks)
- Work with the recruiter + apply for jobs on my own?

Feeling like I’ve been “bait-and-switched”…

I’ve been interviewing at an agency with the intention of filling a Director role. Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.

Recruitment can’t tell me what feedback is creating this gap but also won’t stop mentioning the positive praise and feedback the team had for me.
