Are there any companies/industries that offer MBA tuition reimbursement post-MBA if you did not work for the company pre-MBA?

Hi, I graduated with a bachelor in Healthcare Management and I currently work for McKesson Canada as a team lead for patient services. I am thinking about doing a masters degree in either Healthcare Management or Public Health. Which one should I go for? MHM/MHA or MPH?

For the context, Sloan only requires one LoR.

Also related, how often does Sloan contact the additional references?

Anyone have any advice for someone interested in getting an MBA to either go in-house or break into securities litigation. 5th year associate here.

A friend is considering deferring an offer (stem PhD) for 1 year straight out of undergrad to work in NY, either in a research institution or a biotech. She does not have any real work experience outside of her lab (3 years) and an adjacent internship. Another factor is she is just generally feeling burnt out on school after the last few years.
To what extent did you find that a year or two of work impacts prospects coming out of PhD? How might a year off from school impact her PhD work itself?

How to promote the automation culture and documentation culture? I find it hard to give boni for automations since
a) the amount of automations isn't the amount of saved time
b) the amount of saved time is hard to be tracked for a single automation

Gay man who works in a large org that is big on diversity and inclusion efforts. I’d say about 50-60% of people (at all levels, across all age groups and races) list their gender pronouns in email signature. I list mine because I see it as a way to show support for colleagues who may not be cisgender. If anyone else works in the same type of environment, do you infer anything about colleagues who choose not to list their gender pronouns? (such as they are homo/trans phobic?)

What is the obsession and appeal for MBB among MBA grads? Is it really that amazing - from afar it seems like it may be romanticized (maybe not the right word) among applicants. I know it’s way better than the work I do now, so I’m not knocking MBB at all. It’s super impressive. Maybe a better way to phrase it is that MBA applicants seem to have a fairy tale view of consulting as a whole. I get the impression that people think a job in consulting is a magic ticket anywhere

If you’re at B4, would you get any serious consideration at M7s if you tried to matriculate right when you hit the 3 year mark (apply at 2)? I hear that a lot of MBB people do this but the standard timeline for B4 seems to be to matriculate at 4 YOE.

The number of the alumni and current students that go to top consulting firms FT& summer intern are countless even for a small class size.
Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)
