I recently interviewed for L7 EM at Google and had 4 great interviews and one not so great system design. I submitted external referrals all of which gave great feedback. The recruiter said the next step is team match/interviews and then the HC. Anyone in a similar situation? What was the result? Google

For the future, I always ask right at the end what the next steps/timeline is.
Helps to let them know you’re serious and helps you from the overthinking mentality if they haven’t reached out. Then, you know to reach out if they didn’t get back to you within the window that they stated.
That’s really good advice, thanks! I remember he did say he would get back to me by next week but it seemed really open ended, especially as we have a 4 day weekend coming up
Depends on the employer. I normally wait a min of 2 business days before following up on anything in general. However, I have noticed that recruiters are backed up in today's environment. I'd say this, if it's a small company, maybe give them another day or two before following up. If it's a large one, follow up with them at the beginning of next week.
Fair enough, it’s is a small company (around 200 employees), I’ll follow up at the end of the week just to give them the benefit of the doubt!
I usually follow up within 1 week if I don't hear back. You can wait until Friday or shoot over a message today. Either way, I'd definitely follow up.
Yeah sounds like a fair shout! Thanks!
It’s dependent on what was agreed on that call. I’ve recently just gone through my first job change. Accenture took far too long to get back to me. And Deloitte took about 5-7 business days between each interview
Fair enough
I would consider it a loss at this point. But there's no harm in following up anyway!
