Does anybody know whether Goldman Sachs has a cooling period, I gave an interview for US deposits (wealth management) and got rejected in the second round, and its been 2 months after my second round, how many months is the cooling period if the company has it, or else can I apply to another jobs in Goldman Sachs after 2 months?

Hi everyone. I’m a front end software engineer. I’m interviewing next week for a solutions engineer at a company I really like, which I mistakenly applied for as I saw they needed ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS. Upon reading the job description, it’s clear I will be doing a lot of sales and client consulting over actually coding. I know they have a FE SWE role open. How would you approach asking the recruiter if there are any SWE openings I could be considered for instead ?

I went through six rounds of interviews including putting together a 30 minute presentation which I presented to the whole team. The whole process took about six weeks. I turned down another lead position at a different company waiting. After all that they told me that hiring for this role was on hold until further notice. At the end of the day it’s business, but I am left feeling like I wasted my time (and theirs.)Totally confused and disheartened by this process. Anyone else experiencing this?

I interviewed with Amazon for SDE 1 role on 31 November 2021. Out of 4 rounds held on the same day, 2 went really good and other two were just alright. Please give me a rough estimate on how much hike we can expect in my annual salary revision. I expected 8LPA when I joined. They gave me 5LPA with a promise of revision in 3months after joining. They inc it to 7.75LPA after 4m and during appraisal cycle gave 25k 11months to make it to 8LPA. In Oct my hike is due, so I would to like negotiate my hike.
