I applied to Amazon job in LinkedIn . Got a mail to complete a Hacker Earth test from Amazon . But i felt not prepared and didn't even try it thinking i might fail and they might not shortlist me the next time when i apply again after preparing .
Do they track any data like who didn't attend the test so they can ignore them next time? Or if i prepare good enough and reapply again after 3 to 4 months would this cause any issue?

Hi Folks,
Good Evening
Hope you all are doing well.
I am just done with the HR and Salary discussion for the Data Engineering role with Telstra .
Which location is good to join Bengaluru, Hyderabad or Pune when it comes to Data Engineering roles and opportunities in Telstra ?
Any one currently working or worked in Telstra looking forward to your valuable inputs and suggestions.

Anyone from Boston Consulting Group Boston Consulting Group (BCG) working in non-consulting - Technology/Engineering/Global Services?
How's the work life balance? Glassdoor reviews are full of "long working hours" and hence wanted to know if it's the same with non-consulting folks as well?
How far is it true across the organisation?
Please help me shed some light to decide.
Thanks.

Could you please shed some light on how the general work culture is and how's the hybrid working flexibility?

Depends on the recruiter. When I started at Microsoft, the process took 4 months because of a hiring freeze and some internal changes that happened. There were many weeks I didn’t hear from anyone. I didn’t find the recruiter that responsive but I think it also depends on how much that team leans on the recruiter to fill the role. Some teams just use a recruiter to organise meetings and some don’t even use them for that (when I last used an internal recruiter to fill a role, she could never get the time zones correct). Hang in there. Follow up if you like. Your situation isn’t unusual.
I did hear back from them. A bit slow but they do respond. Thanks all
Thanks a lot. Really helpful to know that it isn't unusual. I do intend to wait until I hear a no specifically. Fingers crossed.
I must admit I hate the way that some agencies just drop unsuccessful candidates and leave them in the lurch.
