My CTC around 15 LPA.

1. What all are the criteria's for SSE to DE promotion? When will I get promotion?
2. How much hike or how much package will be given for SSE to DE Promotion? For me?
3. Minimum and Maximum CTC for DE by promotion?
4. Who will give this promotion Manager or Lead or Mentor?
5. What about yearly hike? How much and when? For me?

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

What are good sectors to specialise in if I wanted to keep my options open?

I’m still a generalist but see people 1-2 years above me beginning to align. I frankly don’t really have any particular sector interest, but choosing based on “who i vibe with” sounds a bit silly (esp if you plan to exit)

I've been WFH the past 2 yrs and overtime more than half my team has now been pulled out to work for a diff department which resulted in me taking 90% of our daily tasks to handle.
