Do they actually reject candidates in the client round after giving the offer, or is it mostly a formality?

Role is Technical Lead (WPF-related).

Hi! I’ve started to consult a new agency, an 8 month contract ending Dec,2020.
The client is to ‘pay’ me in art plus a retainer reduced by over 60% of my standard rate (because of the painting.
Art=1 piece at the end of the contract, but only if I complete the entire contract. IF I don’t stay on/company doesn’t get off the ground or relationship doesn’t work out, he can sever the contract. He is difficult & volatile and has yet to give me a contract 1 month in. Have I agreed to a bad deal? help

I’d to get a job in a small architecture firm or work for a developer to help build up my network. For the past 6 years I’ve taught high school architecture and engineering and done real estate on the side. I joined Accenture 5 months back as a lateral hire ( Level 11 ) and have been a part of a project since day one.

I am not enjoying my work here, no motivation at all. Dreaded to report to work and having stress and anxiety. My manager is trying to micromanage me as productivity is on the lower side.
