I was put into PIP in my first company. I believed my manager said that it's only for improvement. I signed it. Later realized it's a termination plan. So I quit the company. But after 5 years I got a call from my First company HR for another role, I was happy to take that opportunity. But later HR called me and said they couldn't proceed for some reason. Are there any agencies where creatives actually have good work-life balance in LA, SF or anywhere else for that matter? Like no weekends or no working more than a 40-50hr week? Or do I have to go in house for this? Or do I have to leave advertising altogether?

I feel like I’m either getting burnt out by work or trying to heal myself from it. There’s never much time for real life and I don’t want to be on my death bed reminiscing like, “Wow, I made some cool ads.” Nothing scares me more.
