For those who made the jump from biglaw to midlaw, how long did the recruiting process take? I just started interviewing last week and have a ton more interviews this week, and I’m already exhausted balancing that with a current busy workload. And how many firms did folks apply to/approx how many interviews did you do in total? Trying to get a sense of how long this process is for people.

Did anyone face that in technical round or any interview rounds, interviewer tell you, feedback is good and after few days when you call hr to check the update, they will tell they have received negative feedback.

Not one, it has been happening same with all the interviews.

Don't know, what they expect and why they lie infront of us.

Please provide honest feedback even though it's negative!!

To the single-income householders with a young family out there: how much are you realistically saving on a month-to-month basis? Between house payment, etc., I find just hitting the 401k match amount is tight (want the free $!). I hear others talking about investments beyond that, 529 plans, etc. and I don’t have an idea of where to scrape any of that together. Am I crazy?
