How do you detach from work? I’m wired at this point to be so attached that even when I’m off I’m super stressed out, and have to look at emails and keep up or else I get severe anxiety. Anybody?

Does anyone actually get jobs through using LinkedIn easy apply? If there’s a cover letter submission component- how important is that part? In general are cover letters super important?

Hi, I’m fairly new to corporate America with only several years of experience in financial services. I’m a Black female having difficulty navigating a white, male dominated field. Can someone share advice on navigating the office politics while being a POC? My question is specifically about asking tough questions to senior management. Is there specific “etiquette” to follow?

Benefits to scrum or PMP certifications as a low level Associate? All the positions I see require 5+ years scrum experience. Also would appreciate people’s perspectives on scrum vs PMP in general. I’m a people person and quite good at leadership so I feel my talents are being wasted managing client direction on funds day to day.

I have an interview this week. How do I work on getting top compensation for the role?. I have done market, recruiter's and company comp reviews which are all different. How do I successfully pitch my view of compensation?
I have 4 years experience, Undergraduate, postgraduate diploma,professional certs in Financial crimes and Project Management. The companies in Canada pay so much cheaper compared to other 1st world countries

Anyone feel as if it’s hard to stay with a company when you’re the only one of color? (&young) I’ve work for 3 companies in past 5 years and have yet to make meaningful colleague relationships. I just do not relate to the conversation and just find it hard to picture myself being a long-term employee. I’ve had better relationships when working at wal-mart when I was in college. I feel it takes away some of the joy of having to go to work.
