Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

They will ask you, “Can you SAP?” and you’ll just have to say “yes”.
Yep 👍🏻

SAP partners leave fast due to burnout…
SAP SC here - SAP’s Best Practice explorer website has great content on their methodology called ACTIVATE. Review each phase and be able to speak about past projects that align to different parts of those stages. Most Deloitte projects use Deloitte’s implementation approached called EVD but activate will be a good methodology to hinge answers to during the interview.
Touch on
- requirement gathering, fit/gap analysis
- design, lean specs
- unit & string testing
- integration testing, defect mgmt
- cutover execution
- End user testing, user acceptance testing
- experience with Jira, Octane or Azure DevOps
- mastery with PowerPoint and story telling
- excel wiz, data guru
Agree with D2 in answering Agile when speaking on SAP implementation topics.
Another important topic to cover is basic project mgmt experience. Putting a plan together, building a roadmap, looking at the micro (product owner level) and pulling it up the macro (executive leadership level)

Lot of hiring. Just don’t screw up. You’ll get in
What's your background? Any internships or prior jobs you can leverage in the interview?
All those technologies won't help you get the job, they're irrelevant in the SAP practice. I would find out who's interviewing you, what part of SAP they specialize in, and do some research about that particular module or functionality. Relate that to relevant job experience. Also focus on core skills: communication, listening, working with others, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Know different phases of the implementation process. Be able to answer why SAP and Deloitte.
