Hey guys! I am getting interview calls from LTC. I have 12+ years of FSI experience - have been working for a product-based firm now for 1.5 yrs (not Deloitte anymore :P). This is a US based firm that develops trading systems. I'm wondering if LTC would be a good transition. How are the growth opportunities? The main reason I'm looking for a switch is the paucity of growth opportunities here. Also, how is the work culture? I WFO only once or twice a month. Is LTC stricter with the WFO policy?

My current CTC is 8.71 LPA and overall experience is 4.9 years. I have an offer of 14.5 LPA. I am currently giving interview in HCL. How much should I ask from them? Does HCL have variable component and how much they pay of that?

How long does it take to hear back about an offer? They basically told me they want me to join the team about two weeks ago. Interviewed with five people and all went well. Emailed the recruiter yesterday and radio silence. Waiting is the worst. Did they change their mind or does it take a long time to get an offer approved and made?

After a final interview, how many days after can I expect an answer from the recruiter?

At the end of the interview, the person told me I passed the interview and they were going to talk to the Director who’s a level under them. It’s a yes for them and they’re happy to work with me.

I also sent my references. I don’t know when I can expect an reply. Recruiters from that company aren’t really organised

I just left a very toxic work place.
The crazy thing is they were just named the best local municipality to work for. It's upsetting. They advertise a "culture" but don'tapply it. I interviewed for a job in a diff location and during interviews they asked me multiple times how I felt abt relocating. I said it was fine, but the more I think about it the less I’m open to relocating. I now have an offer from them, is there anyway to negotiate no relocation? They are remote until mid year 2021. I’m Happy to fly in on a monthly basis but I don’t want to move there.

I am currently working at a T2 strategy firm in London and my partner and I want to relocate in ~1.5 years. My firm does not have an office in Dubai whilst my partners firm does.
