How long does it take to hear back about an offer? They basically told me they want me to join the team about two weeks ago. Interviewed with five people and all went well. Emailed the recruiter yesterday and radio silence. Waiting is the worst. Did they change their mind or does it take a long time to get an offer approved and made?

I have 6 and half YOE in front end development. (angular and hybrid applications). I joined my current organization ( product based) in Feb for 24LPA. The work here is too stressful and there is absolutely zero WLB. So I decided to start looking out again. However I am not getting good interview calls. Are most companies not hiring now ? Or could it because my CTC is too high ?

I have a second interview tomorrow. I already spoke with the partners and now I’ll be speaking with some associates. Any tips on what I should discuss and what questions should I ask?

I have been on a planned personal sabbatical this year pursuing personal interests. Now I’m ready to go back to work. I will have next week the second interview with an exec recruiter for a company for a Director level position reporting to the COO of the company. In addition to having relevant experience and accomplishments handy, I would appreciate any pointers for having a good interview at this level.

I applied to an experienced consultant position at Bain and just heard back. Yesterday, I received an invite to a HireVue one-way interview to complete. Today, I received an invite for a coffee chat with a consultant. I’m of course going to do both, but the emails make it seem like they are almost two separate paths/disconnected processes. All I want from an Account person is some kind of acknowledgement that what you’re asking me to do sucks. What would be GREAT is if you said “I tried to make it suck less. I told them _____, but they said ____.” Then we’d know you tried. But failing that, just “Hey sorry, this is lame, but they want ____.” We just want to feel like you’re on our side.

It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️
