I've Btech degree but since 2nd year of my college I'm in Ux industry. I've worked with 2 start-ups, built them from ground up and have spend 2 years in each of them.

Even after been loyal to the company for 2years, being the first ux desinger, designing all their digital products be it internal or external, mobile or web, I'm being compensated 5lpa. The company's is still in RnD phase and the product will be out in about 1-2 years. Should I stay ?

How bad is it if my company is not offering COL raises this year? They usually do 1-5% raises in May, but my manager tells me there will be none this year.

I've been a dental assistant for 11 years , and I think I'm done . I feel the pay is never enough and 9/10 we do the most work in the office . It's never commensurate to what we do and no matter how much experience you have your still 3-5$ more than someone fresh out of school . It's a skill I'm glad to know that I can always find work but the burnout for nothing isn't worth it. Can anyone relate

Has anyone just taken a break from work without anything lined up? Every offer I’ve gotten wants me to start in a month and with 2 weeks notice that leaves me only 2 weeks to recharge. I have a friend who told me he sought treatment for alcohol abuse 6 mo ago. We talk a lot and I try not to judge or ask too many questions about his progress, just wanting to be a supportive friend who doesn’t pressure him.
