If it's june to june once a year right then if I join in this July then I will not be eligible for next junes hike right ? So I join in July 2023 then my first hike will be in June 2025 ?


If so then will they give more hike like 30/40%


And same thing with variable ???

Has anyone made the switch from transactional work to criminal law? Have been at bigger firm practicing mostly M&A and commercial real estate. The job pays great and I enjoy the people I work with, but I worry that I didn’t follow my true passion. I wanted to do criminal law ever since I started law school. My favorite classes were criminal law and criminal procedure. I worry about specializing for too long and having a hard time transitioning to something different in the future.

I need help with what my next career move should be! I’m a 3rd year complex lit associate at a V50 firm moving to a Midwest city with limited biglaw options. I’m very interested in white collar and employment law, but they’re very different with different career trajectories. I have more experience in white collar but have always been interested in employment.
