Hello - hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'm looking into risk assurance opportunities at Meta, especially Application Manager, Controls (min 5 YOE) and Manager, Compliance (min 12 YOE). I am a Senior Manager with 9 years of IT risks assurance experience. Does anyone have any thought on which position I should apply? If anyone currently at Meta could share your experience, that would also help. If anyone is open to providing referrals, I could provide my background. Facebook (Meta)

Does anyone have any insight into accounting roles at Amazon, particularly in the Arlington/DC area? An Amazon recruiter reached out about accounting roles, but the posts in this bowl are about Seattle. Trying to decide if the culture/wlb/pay is even worth looking into since it sounds like the interview process is intense. Base pay seemed pretty low in other posts, but they were a year old and for Seattle.

No, don't go back to school for a degree if u have the relevant credits. Send your transcript to state Cpa licensing board and they will tell you what credits are missing. Take those courses at a local junior or community college.
I see what you mean. The only thing is that I won't be staying in accounting forever. My goal is to become a CEO or an Entrepeneur. Maybe I will get my CPA first and then figure out if grad school is for me.
If you get your CPA, go to a big 4 and do audit for 2 years then exit for a senior financial analyst role and move up from there into finance

Also, I want to go back to school. Should I get MSF, MBA, or MPA?
