Coach
CISSP has a lot of "street" cred to help ya check off a certification box in interviews. It's an inch deep and a mile wide of an exam. I'd recommend leaning into the CISSP as you could always navigate a career switch among the cyber disciplines.
Definitely cissp. Cism was one of the easiest exam's I did. Due to that I don't hold it that highly...
Ohh and cisa is kinda the same as cism...
If you’re staying in audit go CISA. If you’re looking to move into broader infosec go CISSP.
If you want to go to payment card security do both.
CISSP is recognized across just about every branch of IT and Security. It is certainly not an easy test, this coming from someone who has taken a lot of Microsoft and CompTIA certs. Those are walks in the park in comparison. It is not deeply technical, but by the time you're half way through the exam. You will start to question everything you know. There's really a psychological component to that exam. I walked away thinking I had failed it, but was "lucky" enough to get it on the first try.
From a job and market value .. CISSP followed by CISA
I will echo the sentiment: CISSP over CISM. CISSP is the de facto cyber cert standard.
Thank you
I really appreciate everyone’s input
For those who did CISM, did you have 5 years of management experience or did you find a way to bypass that retirement?
What is CISM? 🗑
Hahahaha. I’m over here trying to be helpful lol. I see the trash can now 🤣🤣🤣
