What's next after healthcare for you all?
Here’s an animated chart that shows how COVID-19 cases and deaths have grown globally compared to their causes of death like fire, influenza, and malaria over the same time frame. The timeline begins on January 1, 2020, and COVID-19 starts at the very bottom of the chart with zero deaths.

What’s cycle syncing?
I would like to hear about cycle synching too!!
What’s your routine right before you go to bed?
It’s recommended to not look at any screens (mobile devices, computer, TV, etc) for 40-60 min before bed time. Read a real book if you need to occupy your mind before going to bed.
Lower temperatures in the room where you sleep are recommended for a better sleep (but of course make sure you don’t get too cold).
If your mind racing replaying stressful scenarios from the day or what you’ll have to do tomorrow, see if any meditation* techniques might help. Drink calming teas (chamomile is most popular for this; there are also various herbal combos that you might like better). I personally also like to take some Valerian Root before bedtime (it’s natural and great for calming down the nervous system).
Good luck! ❤️
*I’ve practicing Transcendental Meditation since 2009; it was one of the easiest habits to acquire. We do it 2x a day for 20 min. It recenters you and you feel rested after (it’s like a power nap, except you don’t fall asleep). They also have a night technique to do right before going to sleep that reduces the amount of time for dozing off :) LMK if you need to know more!
My pleasure :)
Valerian root is a herbal supplement; it comes in (powder) pills or liquid. I personally prefer liquid (link below to the one I use). And yes, chamomile is very subtle, doesn’t always help!
Transcendental Meditation has to be learned from a trained certified practitioner and it does cost money. TM org has a special pricing structure: if you can’t afford their regular fee, they offer certain discounts based on the income. You learn it over four days with an instructor. But whatever it costs, it’s totally worth it. Because it’s basically your preventive care for years. Like I mentioned, I learned it (my husband and I both) back in 2009 and it’s improved the immune system, etc. We rarely get sick (well, except when there’s something like COVID 😵💫).
I used to have crazy migraines and they went away during the very first session when I learned TM.
An instructor will give you a mantra that’s unique to you. Not sure why, but we are not to share our mantras with another person. The word itself has no meaning— it’s just a syllable or two, a sound—and it serves as a vehicle to get you to the state of complete relaxation. We refer to TM as “effortless technique” because there’s literally no effort on your part to do something, unlike in other techniques when you make a small effort to focus on a particular thought, or your body sensations, etc. With TM, you don’t need any tools, an app, a guided meditation, etc. You simply sit comfortably with your eyes closed and quietly start reciting your mantra in your mind. Depending on how busy (stressful) your day has been, your mind will be crazy busy with thoughts. And it’s totally okay. That’s your mind’s way of processing. You let them fly in and out. Sometimes it feels like the meditation wasn’t really meditative ;) but somehow you feel refreshed after it. I’ve had a few stressful years in crazy workplaces and I honestly have no idea where I’d be without this technique.
You can read more on TM dot org (there’s a bunch of medical studies that talk about all the benefits like helping with stress, ADHD, PTSD, etc) TM org has centers across the U.S. and abroad too.
You can also check out Thom Knoles. He also teaches TM, but he refers to it by its original name, Vedic Meditation. Thom studied for 25 yrs with the gentleman who brought TM to the West (and taught it to the Beatles :)
I met Thom a few years ago in NYC (but he’s based in Arizona), he’s awesome: a neuroscientist and philosopher with a great sense of humor who explains all the things very well; his team posts videos of him answering people’s questions on his IG & YouTube channels.

I am curious
Since so many of you are curious, I thought this picture that I follow would help. But in short, the first five and the five - seven days of my cycle, my workouts are lighter. Walking, yoga, pilates, slow movements. In the middle is when I strength train, sometimes run/HIIT. I've been noticing that this has really helped me with not feeling drained all the time.
