What’s the promotion process like - how hard is it to move up the ranks. I’m being hired at L9 - is that considered Snr or fairly mid range .. ?

I have a lot of enterprise marketing experience, but making a jump to a startup and want to get up to speed as quickly as possible.

I’m an associate at a personal injury firm in FL where I’ve been able to learn tons about litigation and get to help people every day….but I also want to get into entertainment law (it’s a dream that I can’t let die yet).
It’s the beginning of my career, any input on how to pursue both areas of law?

Feel like I missed the boat years back to get into Director of Product role. Back in the day there was only Senior in between a Director role, now there’s Lead and Group levels, so much hierarchy now.

I’m in-house at a small company (60 people), started right out of law school about 5 years ago. We had a legal team of 5 then. Everyone has left and we just hired a new GC. I went from $70k to $100k a little over a year ago. I am expecting an offer from a firm doing business law work but think this might be an opportunity to go to my current employer and ask for a significant raise, with new offer in hand. Any thoughts or advice going into this?

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

Difference between a Solution Architect and Technical Architect at SF

Just initiated the conversation with Salesforce recruiter and other than some Industry focus for the Solution Architect - did not see much of a difference between the job descriptions for these 2 roles

This would be for L8/L9 level.
