Hey y’all. Having a major career crisis-going on for 7 years now. I graduated from a prestigious ad school but all I’ve gotten are jobs that don’t bring me joy. I want to make broadcast work; campaigns and stuff. The more years I clock, the worse it gets. I’ve been confined to direct mail for the last 2 years. I’ve pray fervently but nothing moves in this area of my life. I’m able to provide for my family but job satisfaction is zero. I’m tired of praying for a better job.

Hi Fishes, I'm in a huge dilemma now. Im currently working with TCS and my CCTC is 10.29 LPA and I hold 2 offers, one with with Bank of America for 17.5 LPA Fixed and with CTS for 19 LPA.
My last date is Dec-30 and I received a call today from TCS HR for retaining me for 16 LPA max.
Earlier,before the call I had Bank of america in mind ahead of CTS for its work culture ,hike %, job security and other benefits. But here in TCS also I have very good role, job security and comfort.Please suggest!!

I joined Mindtree on 8th Feb and not got project and I was waiting for last 2 and half month. So, i gave interview outside (tech mahindra) and got selected. Almost 30-35% they said they will give and i am negotiating on it.

My main concern was shift and i have some health issues and unable to continue in night shift in Mindtree and tech mahindra its purely EMEA shift and per project team update.

Hey guys… I’m a case worker in child safety and I’m someone who loves being outdoors/dies at a desk all day. I’m hoping to organise that at least once a week I can go to a cafe and catch up on all my case notes that need to go into the system.
So far the only reason I’ve been told no is that “if you do then everyone will want to and then no one will be in the office” … how can I convince them that I work better out of the office and get this freedom & mental break for myself?

A councilmember would like to draft an ordinance allowing the general public to attend press conferences.  Currently, our local government does not have a policy regarding press conferences in place. But only members of the press are invited to press conferences.
