Thankful for good whiskey!

Hate to say it but uber is definitely in tune

I have interview scheduled and completed from Commonwealth Bank Bangalore location. All technical rounds cleared.
When I called HR i got a surprise answer..
They mentioned the position which I have intervied is different than the salary rem ranges. And my current salary is higher than position what they have got and asked for approval for rem ranges changes..
Is any one faced this? Ideally HR should know expectation and allocation before scheduling intervjew..
I am bit confused with commonwealt
Hello, I am looking for jobs in Finance, accounting fields and I have done Masters and bachelors in mathematics. I have also done Canadian Investment Funds course Certification, still no luck in finding a good field job. Any referrals in Finance sector or banking sector would be appreciated. I am on PGWP and need a job ASAP. If someone from RBC or Scotiabank can refer me for banking advisor or entry level analyst roles would be great. TIA

Really focus on executive presence and confidence during the case presentation. If you’ve never read the pyramid principles, I would read up on that and follow that approach for my case presentation as well. You’ll get a huge packet of info for the case presentation, you don’t need to use every piece of info from it to do well.
Also treat your lunch like an actual interview (because that person will write a review)- be conversational and ask questions even though you likely won’t be talking about your resume ( in mine we talked about how to optimize Delta miles for the majority of it)
The cognitive test are really easy and the so-called “psych evaluation” is just someone with a background doing a standard behavioral interview.
For the other experience based / behavioral interviews really focus on impact of your projects (EBITDA Improvement), also be ready to a set questions like what kind of project could you slot into on day 1 and be productive. If you are a retail person this could be like COGS stuff, if you a Ops person a typical answer might be 4-walls manufacturing or a Operations due diligence.
Very helpful, thanks so much!
I’m curious to know how much the case weighs into AP’s decision compared to all of the other assessments and interviews/lunch at the red carpet day?
During the Q&A following the case the directors mentioned they were really pushing me with their questions, so it was hard to read.
Thanks for all of the responses folks, even though not very helpful 😂
It's mostly behavioral questions. Just make sure you're brushed up on the projects you've done and what you specifically contributed. Get to know the kind of projects we do (check out insights section on website) and showcase similar client situations from your experience. Be nice to everyone you meet, including the ones who you don't think have a say in the end result.
