A newbiee here, I have a concern regarding carrier. Is it possible to change domain after working for 1.5 years in a different domain?

I have a 20+ year career doing AdTech/BI/Analytics in media agencies. Started as an intern, rose up to director and board member at various agencies.

I switched to tech consulting at SM level early this year for the money but also to see new industries & learn something new. Had to quit the small firm I joined after only 5 months due to chaotic and overbearing leadership. Now I have an offer from Avanade and one from a big media agency on the table.

Should I go back or stay in consulting?

Anyone change practice areas after 10+ years of practicing? Thoughts? Suggestions? Advice?

Considering a move to NTT Data in a healthcare consulting role. Mixed reviews in the bowls. Major concerns are bench policy, staff aug roles, 2 week PTO, and high turnover due to job dissatisfaction. Recruiter and mgr had great things to say around growth and opportunity, which doesn’t align with feedback from the bowls or Glassdoor.

I’m getting back into the design game after taking a break. I left a very toxic work environment that deeply effected my mental and physical health and took a very different job to have a change of pace and do something different. But I miss doing graphic design and creative work. Any advice with getting back into the field after being out of the game for 6 months?

Working my way up the corporate ladder. I have so many thoughts on leadership and want to initiate changes in the departments I work with. But at this level it's so difficult. Ppl are so resistant to change.

I left Audit at a midsize firm to join KPMG erp implementation consulting about 6 months ago. So far they seem to only want to staff me on projects with a heavy focus on technical accounting and audit. Spoke to a lot of others who have left and seems like being pigeonholed or staffed on projects not related to the actual core work of the practice is the common reason. I've been on the fence about whether I should stay and hope to be staffed on better projects in the future or leave soon...

Should I get a CPA for Transaction Due Diligence?
I’m a new grad working in FDD and I’m trying to decide if becoming a CPA is worth it. I do not plan on staying in accounting in the future. I’m more interested in strategy work. If someone got an offer from DXC but currently is working in Accenture in level 10 with 6 years of experience, shall they switch or stick with Accenture? Its only been 6 months with Accenture though.

I know its been 6 months and all but my question is should they be choosing DXC over Accenture wherein Accenture is providing so many facilities like vaccination reimbursement, vaccination drive, family support, financial support to setup office space and all.

Got offer from Cognizant for SAP SD. They have offered senior analyst role for 5 years of experience and CTC 16 fixed + 70 variable. Is it good offer and how is the SAP practice in Cognizant. Do they have implementation projects or is it mostly support?
