Hi Fishes, I have an interview with PwC AC in the coming week. My tech stack is Power BI, SQL, SSRS,SSIS and Tableau. YEO -4 Current CTC is 9 LPA. During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? 2. Change definition of job security - not doing work and getting salary.
3. Now switch and ask for 20lpa minimum for 7year exp.
4. Research about Infosys and IBM, they are at par with TCS if not less.

Job security in TCS is myth.. if your friend is above ITA then he will be in first row to recieve pink letter as recession is looming...
sometime in 2014 and in 2016 TCS did massive layoffs (ITA above) even though market was in very good shape. People dont know that layoffs are mandatory in TCS every year, but news come out if and only if it is huge like in 2014 & 2016.
Mistry started those Layoffs, Tata removed him.

If he has revoked nothing much is needed.HR just have to acknowledge it. They don't initiate the exit until last month of notice in the system.

It doesn't mean that TCS salary is god's salary

Bro.. it is 100% real true.. the moment he called and told me I was also shocked.. because his previous company was Capgemini and at capg in first wave of covid he was almost about to fire so he had some fear in his mind because of recession and etc
Manager told once dropped cannot be revoked so he got more tensed(because of his fears of recession, job security etc) and revoked immediately because of the manger..
PS : he is very good in technology even though he is having lot of fears regarding job security.
Hope HR doesn't approve the revokation of the resignation and my friend gets settled at a higher pacakge 🤗
He revoked after serving notice period for 12 days.. hmmm😐

If he is good in tech then no need to worry about recession or job security. No company can fire 100% of employees.
Usually companies ask people on bench that too with low performance rating to leave.
TCS is not good for financial growth. These companies has close to 6.5lac employees. So such companies can layoff and his manager will decide that. So if his manager not interested in retaining then in that case he should leave and look for stability in some mid sized mncs
