Hi All. Are remote jobs a thing of the past and are companies pushing more for RTO 5 days a week? I've seen companies define 4 days a week at the office, WFH Fridays as "hybrid". Is this the going trend for the future? I am really on the hunt for a remote risk/research/analytics job due to health concerns but it seems like most of them offer below market pay. Let me know if you are hearing a different narrative.

I have received an offer as Associate Data Engineer L2 at Publicis Sapient Gurgaon. I have 1 yr and 8 months of experience. The CTC provided is 16. On other Hand got the same CTC from Neudesic an IBM Company and its WFH ( Remote Completely ). The Third Offer is from PubMatic where CTC is 22.70 ( Including stocks, and variables ) for the Gurgaon location. Please help me out with what basis I should choose among these. When someone tells me bad news regarding their health, I say everything I am supposed to say (I’m sorry to hear that, I’m here for you, etc) EXCEPT “everything is going to be ok”. Because I can’t guarantee that and I really don’t know if everything is going to be ok. I was taken aback recently when a friend told me I am calloused and cold-hearted for not being able to say those words. Is she right? Looking for some mental health advice - I’ve been dealing with pretty debilitating anxiety/panic attacks for over 5 years. Finally started to get some help for it through medication, however the first 3 meds my PCP prescribed me (ssris) didn’t work. Because I haven’t deal with the anxiety it’s gotten really bad. Do I go to a pyscitatrist whose trained more in pharma or start with therapist. Have done therapy in past without much help.

3rd yr here in a mid size firm. I’ve been struggling in the mental health dept. I was on leave for 3 wks and have returned to work in June. I accepted a FADP offer but I have lifelong crippling anxiety It leads to (TMI) diarrhea, I can’t sleep at night, among a lot of other issues. I see a therapist and have their support in school accom. I appear high functioning and ever since uni went remote my life and performance has only improved. I know I’m capable of getting the work done and they must see potential if they hired me. But I feel that if I ask for WFH or other accom. I’m gonna be shooting myself and my career in the foot.
