Curious to know, for someone that has been a PM for 2 years, what is the median salary in nyc? I got a job offer and I feel like they are low balling me but also, maybe I don’t have enough experience either to be getting a huge salary! Thoughts?

I recently joined Deloitte as an Analyst - Finance in Enabling Areas

I have 1.5 YOE and my fixed CTC is 5LPA.
Is it too low? When can we expect salary revisions at Deloitte?

What are your thoughts on pay discrepancies based on family structure? Ex. Two people do the same job but one is paid more or given a larger bonus “because they have kids and you live alone” or “because their family is struggling”. Is that an ethical factor if both employees do the same job at the same pace, quality, etc?

Not sure about variable payout but will have to let go off the joining bonus and hike for sure.
