Hi all - how are things going in the Pharma space right now? I work for a company that serves as a data processing vendor for Pharma companies, and we’re definitely seeing studies closing down left and right. Is anyone in the Pharma space worried how this will impact them? I’m thinking about a pivot, but the air smells of possible layoffs even at big Pharma orgs soon. Would be great to hear from the perspective of those working within the Pharma companies themselves!

Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. 6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY).. I already applied for unemployment but doctors are telling me I’ve got 10-14 weeks left in this pregnancy.. so stressed having twins and being unemployed, no maternity leave, no paychecks coming in, and I’ve been applying but not a single interview.. just ugh. 😭

I was forcefully released from HCL services saying my BGV is not clear and was released the very same day. Now I am being asked to pay for basic salary of 89 days notice period +18% GST.. WHAT TO DO PLEASE HELP. I am being asked to pay 1,65,000/- and I was forced to leave HCL in 22 days.
