Hello Deloitte 🐠 20 YOE. Have referral for a content and marketing M role in cybersecurity -- the focus of my career pivot. Submitted my application today, but my referrer isn't in Cyber. Interested to widen my Deloitte Cyber network to get my resume in front of a human, since ATS has no vision or imagination. If you're willing to connect, please DM. So far, made it several interview rounds into roles with EY and Accenture. Optimistic, but want to be as proactive as possible. Thanks!

Hi all! I have a 45 minute screening interview at Facebook (Meta) next week for their Product Development Specialist position. Does anyone have any advice on what I can expect? In particular, I was told there would be a case study question at the end of the interview. Any advice or insight is appreciated!

It does get better…. I had my first burn out after 4 years out of college (6 months ago) lasted about 2-3 months onto the Christmas holidays…. Went away after I got better at my job and taking time off.
That would most likely help a lot. Setting those work boundaries. Unfortunately my manager sees them as weaknesses if I’m not able to complete all tasks in one day- even if the task comes up 10 minutes to 5pm. It is helpful to know that things do get better!
My best advice is to get out of there - fast. The longer you're burned out, the longer it will take to recover. In my opinion, the only thing that can really help/cure burnout is rest and resetting your intentions/expectations/boundaries for your job/career. Leaving as soon as possible gives you more time to recuperate and find a manager that doesn't make you hate something you used to love.
Sorry you’re experiencing a toxic manager so early into your career. Can you move internally? Externally? There’s a buoyant market out there. Vote with your feet! Good luck.
Yes, start looking now! No need for you to suffer due to a toxic workplace. There ARE lots of good places (& people!) out there. Best wishes!!
Having read all of the comments and replies, I think your best bet is to try and move on. 2 years out of college may seem like a long time but in the grand scheme of things you have SO much ahead of you and the best is yet to come. Working for a smaller agency or company can provide you with a lot of solid talking and selling points as a potential candidate.
I don't know you and it's always easier on the sidelines, but I think you owe it yourself to set boundaries, and communicate those boundaries you're setting to your manager. Happy, well-balanced employees produce good work. You're too fresh to be feeling this. Trust me, the best is yet to come!
It won't get better buddy so you have to find your own inner peace and don't allow yourself to be impacted by your job.
