As an experienced, SHRM certified HRBP , I would just like some feedback on your opinion of the differences in the roles between an HRBP an HR Manager besides the obvious that the manager should have direct reports. I am an HRBP and work in step with 3 HRM’s. They all 3 just got out of cycle raises of between 5-20% 😳 and I received nothing. I have an offer from Mayer Brown as a senior associate and they have told me that a guaranteed full EOY bonus is not standard or a market ask. My offer is in a non-NY office and the posting for this position has been up for six months.
