I’m a Quality Lead with over 7 years of experience, and I’m currently being considered for the role of Assistant Manager – Quality at Infosys.

My current package is ₹9.6 LPA. What CTC should I ask for?

A new analyst has joined our team and we often give them models/ slides but don’t always ask them if they know all of the accounting principles to be able to make minute adjustments to EBITDA or free cash flow. We are a FIG platform, so the knowledge required is relatively unique as well and not as easy to google as corporate transactions. Is there a better way to coach the analyst short of just throwing them in the deep end to figure it out or should we wait for them to ask us for help?

I hardly see positions advertised on the websites of these firms but there are vacancies that they seem to recruit for through recruiters. What’s the deal here? What are peoples opinions on work from home? It seems to be an unpopular opinion but as a junior I despise it. At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project.
