Is my LWD was on 12/07/2024 due to early release and I have an offer from DBS Bank to join on 22/07/2024. But I got a good offer from JPMorgan Chase and joining date is on 12/08/2024 for background verification.(can be preponed based on verification time). Just confused as if I join JPMorgan Chase 12/08/2024 it becomes a one month gap in between. Will this effect in future background checks if I wish to change company again?

Please let me know your suggestions?

I'm not good at my tech stack. I've somehow managed to perform all my tasks without any escalation/blunders but that also by some help/googling.
I also managed to switch from an Indian mnc to a reputed company and now also somehow cleared a FAANG interview,but i know I'm not much knowledgeable in my tech .

I often fail at some interviews badly.
Not sure till when I'll be able to carry forward by this and the hard wlb at FAANG companies is giving me a fear.

Got an offer from Kantar Consulting to work on their retail/cpg product.
Currently working with IBM with 10+ yoe having joined IBM 10 months back. Currently at 25 lpa and getting an offer of 32 fixed+15% variable.

Now my question is - Is it worth the gamble to leave IBM and join Kantar consulting which btw is known for market research and not consulting.
Also would leaving IBM after 1 year look bad on CV?

Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I applied to Amazon before for a highly senior position and made it to final interview so I think I would have a better chance for a new grad type role.

I am with 17 years experience in Services industries and well versed on Database Oracle pl/sql technologies and now want to switch towards Data engineer role . I do not have working experience of any other programming language other than PL/SQL. Learning python now. also learning No SQL and Big Data etc. What do you think about this switch and what should be my learning approach please?
