Anyone knows how to open a non-profit company?
Hi all. I am trying to determine if I am being compensated fairly. I am a tax manager (about to start my second year as manager) and have been with EY since staff 1. I was promoted to manager in June 2020 (during covid) and received a 7.5% raise. The class above me has mentioned they received much higher raises during their promotion years. My base salary is now approx. 97K. Any insights would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

I'd prefer a pre-holiday deadline, if possible. Otherwise you're just holding it over their heads during a time meant for relaxation.
And the people with work due are already out.
Hmm well if it's due, it's due. If you think the workload is something than can easily be done in that 1 day, prolly best not to say anything. But if you're worried about missing the deadline, your hands are kinda tied. You just have to tell em, and as shitty as it sounds, hope that they get an early jump on the work. If that's the route you go, just make sure you adequately reward/praise the guys who take proactive measures during their vacation. Nothing worse than going above and beyond for a partner mandated deadline only to have those efforts ignored. That's a fast track to resentment.
Btw, that's super shitty of your partner. Like, textbook asshole 101 move.
GT1 Too late. Partner moved the deadline to after.
As project manager , it'd be your job to figure out how to resource it so it does get done, especially if you see the shitstorm coming.
Figure out other resources to use.
