Hi all. Posting this for my sibling who graduated from an Ivy in 2020 and is at a small consulting firm doing due diligence work for PE clients. Shes been in the role for 11 months and looking to transition to larger strategy firm to move from diligence work (brutal hours and repetitive work) to broader range of projects. BP: 23 Lpa + 1L joining bonus with 1 year lock in ( location : pune)
Airbus: 26lpa + 5 L joining bonus with 3 year lock in( location : bangalore)
Shell: 26 lpa ( final offer being rolled out)location : bangalore

Please advice which company would have a good growth story and work life balance....

Millennials like us always assume we’re about to get fired - I actually have been laid off in a meeting with that title. Told during HR screen that I'm looking for 135-145 but have space to negotiate. Given verbal offer and currently already getting background checked. HR calls me and says they can only do 110 with no sign on bonus? She even asked me if it's too low to continue. Is this even normal?

When you talk in American accent with recruiters, do they still ask “if you need visa sponsorship”? Can any recruiter chime in please? Are they trained to tell if anyone is potentially “international” candidate, hence asking the question selectively at their discretion?
