I am getting a Analyst designation at delloite for a 1.7 years experience of it experience.
Should I try to get the consultant designation as the salary range will also open a bit as they r giving me 9.5. Should I just wait a few more months to get 2 years experience and apply the consultant position.

If she’s from an Ivy, she likely has a lot of classmates who went into consulting and are at MBB. I would start there to have the mutual connection - that’s what I did when I decided to change career paths, and even though many of my friends had since left (I was about 4 years out), they were able to put me in touch with current members.
Pretty sure you can ask around for referrals here. Plenty of people who’d love to help given the generous referral bonuses at MBB. Obviously she’ll need to update her resume and prepare for case interviews

Most places will likely require she has at least one year experience to be considered an “experienced” hire. Right now she’s in a grey area between a campus hire and an experienced hire.
I’m happy to recommend her for a role at PwC if there’s a role open that interests her and her skills/experience align with. But she’ll need at least a full year until she’s eligible for an experienced associate role, though that’s right around the corner.
Hi I can help out to refer her to EY DAS practise if it aligns with her career path
