Accenture I have cleared the final interview for consultant for the CN - Strategy - ACE - CS&S - Conversation Design - 09 role . HR round is still pending , what salary can I expect ? or what salary I should negotiate ? I am an MBA graduate from IIM Rohtak and have around 4 years of work experience.
Please help !!!
I applied to Pinterest and Amazon. I have interviews at both and it's looking positive. I'm a little worried I set the bar too low with my initial response for salary range expectations when I applied. Anyone ever told the recruiter afterwards a higher range and been successful? What might you say to adjust the range? Thoughts?

Paying $575 rent on an 80-90k salary will leave you under financial stress. You may be able to get something in Potts Point for $500 but even that will be challenging rent wise.
I thought the same. That rent seems a bit too high for that salary range. Might be better if you reduce your budget a bit. Lifestyle in Sydney is expensive so if you lower your rent budget you might get a bit of a life there.
For $575 you’ll be looking at a hovel in the Potts Point area, even for a studio / 1bdr. Kirribilli and Neutral Bay may get you better bang for your buck, otherwise you may need to look a bit further afield and away from the Eastern / Northern suburbs (Erskineville, Alexandria, Randwick)
Appreciate the insight all! Glad to hear those areas are walkable proximity which gives me another method to get to work.
Other places to look would be glebe and surrounding suburbs, or north Sydney. Potts point is the better vibe though.
North Sydney area is pretty good for that salary range. Might find apartments with one bed with around $450-$500 range. North syd, wollstonecraft, chatswood, Artarmon, etc. A lot of residents in these areas are city office workers living in a one bed apartment (including myself) :)
yeah it may take some time to get to supermarkets, etc without a car depending on the street you live on. If you don't mind walking 10-15 min, it shouldn't be a big problem. I usually do grocery shopping on the way from work
Why don't you move to the Inner West? I was paying $220/week
