I have been following up with HSBC for releasing my offer letter since last 2 months.

My current application status in the portal says “Additional info and employment checks”

HSBC HR is replying that you may or may not get it because we don’t know when hiring freeze will be uplifted.
I have been super fed up with the process .
I have gotten an offer from other company and joining date is 13th March.
What should I do now? Any update anybody has?

Coming from ACN, senior analyst, 3yrs total experience so far & wanting to get into the data analytics/BI work. Received a verbal offer/commitment from the engineering team 3 weeks after my interview process. One of my direct reports has asked about going part time. They currently manage special reports in a bi-weekly publication, working closely with sales, freelance writers, and an internal designer.
