Hi Bowl!
I‘m hoping for help on how to frame my recent termination.
I‘m an AE working in the UK. Your employer here can terminate your contract without explanation if you’ve been with the company for >2 years. A month ago that happened to me. I asked for a reason and they wouldn’t give one, citing the above.
How does one best position this with recruiters or employers?

I think it's probably best to frame it as something that happened and really wasn't about you. Just say the company's culture changed, or its goals and focus changed. Something along those lines. Or you could say it was due to cost reductions, which would presumably be a common reason to be let go these days.

Hi, I been working for Lloyds Bank for almost 9 years now , I recently attended a interview for Barclays and offered an Senior Business Analyst AVP role in Wealth and private banking area. I did not see much difference in the salary offered and it is pretty much same ie 68.5k.But the difference is current role is London based, however the Barclays one is based in Glasgow where cost of living is less in comparison. I am unable to decide whether to take the offer or not..any suggestions will be helpful pls.
