I have plenty of Casual/Sick leaves, and do not wish to waste annual leaves(as they get monetized).

6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I already applied for unemployment but doctors are telling me I’ve got 10-14 weeks left in this pregnancy.. so stressed having twins and being unemployed, no maternity leave, no paychecks coming in, and I’ve been applying but not a single interview.. just ugh. 😭

We’re having a baby coming this end of August. KPMG has 12 weeks parental leave. Planning to take 4 weeks in September but I can’t seem to figure out when to use 8 more weeks. I’m so tempted to do Feb-March (peak busy season for our client) but I feel completely bad cause I actually like this client/team and I know how a lot of test work is done. (Senior A.) Can I suggest to my manager that rather than taking leave, to schedule me only 40 hours during these times? Would that be unfair to others?

Does this benefit cover procedures such as freezing eggs?

Is this legal? My spouses company just decided to change their comp structure for account managers. It was base + comm, now it’s commission only but nothing changed, OT commission is the same, didn’t get more points, just took away the base pay and said work harder basically. So now they have to worker harder to get $50k they were already making. (Not a decision based on employee performance, they’ve been crushing it. I think the company is just trying to save money they overspent else where)
