I am expecting an offer from Master Card for Senior Software Engineer position in O Fallon MO. Please let me know what kind of base salary I can expect with 11 yrs experience . I don’t wanna undersell but also trying to avoid being aggressive but quote a decent number which will be achievable. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Is 125k $ base a fair value for or I can pitch higher? They have a 15 to 20 % bonus on top of base pay and a 10% match on 401k which the recruiter keep highlighting.

They do the whole "your background and expertise is exactly what we're looking for" then turn around and offer a salary range that is 20k below my current level. I wanted to leverage the hive mind in finding out how best to negotiate a verbal offer for a 100%-remote Product Manager role in NYC, with a IT infrastructure/digital services firm (MNC but non-American):

Base salary: 120k

Sign-on bonus:10k

Bonus: 15%

No stock options

I’m reviewing my resume getting ready to start my job search and have a question for recruiters, hiring managers. I’m looking for a role brand-side not agency side. Specialist roles aside, such as digital, when you see someone describing themselves as a “generalist marketer” is this a resume you’d pass on? My past roles have been such that I do a lot of marketing projects, tasks etc. but I’m not a specialist. I’m worried if I use this terminology I won’t even be considered for a role. Thank you
