Hi everyone! Currently, I’m a Senior 3 in audit outside of US. I received an offer EY San Jose for Manager 1 position with starting date in September. I have a question regarding the visa. I’m applying for L-1A visa, but don’t have 1 year of manager position. However, I worked as acting Manager on several accounts this year. Is there anyone who had similar experience? I’d like to know what are my chances for L-1A visa. Thank you in advance :)

Should I leave my first permanent job as a team leader of 4 DPs in a FMCG business (only been there for 4 months) to join a huge Tech business for a 12months contract?

They offer me 60% more money than my permanent role. Circa 2000 dollars every month in my pocket

However, I am worried if I accept the tech role and I do not become permanent I will be looking again for a job in 12-24 months and my CV won't be showing a managerial position. Won't be showing any progress.

Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience. Understanding that the degreed person committed to school and finished, yet that doesn't diminish what the not degreed has committed to and accomplished in their careers. This has to stop!
