I will be starting full time at big 4 in the M&A Tax group after I graduate from my accounting this program this December. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how I could go in to work a step ahead? Whether it be material to read up on or anything like that. I want to stay in the group for a good while and don’t want to be a low performer.

- bachelors in environmental health and safety engineering (EHS)

6.5 years work experience
- worked in distribution in EHS for a year
- worked in EHS Consulting for 3 years
- currently working in insurance consulting in risk management

Want to get opinions on next move. Living in TX now. Insurance pays alright but my last raise was less than inflation rate and salary growth is low.

I’m a Junior at Colgate University and have been heavily searching for a summer 2022 internship since October of 2021. I have had countless networking calls with various alumni in different professions and have learned plenty of great information, but have not gotten lucky enough to find an internship. I’m beginning to worry that opportunities are going to become hard to come by for summer of 2022. Any advice?

Just wanted to brag a little. This may not be much for some but I’m super excited. I graduated with a B.A in chemistry July 2022 and I start my job this Monday with a salary of 60K! This is the most money I’ve ever made 😱😱. Really proud of myself even though I know some people would rather make more. I’m hoping to hit 100K within 3-4 years. Don’t give up recent grads!!

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new.
