Hi everyone. I’m a fresher at LTIMindtree, Kolkata for 6 months, trained as SDET. Skilled in Selenium C#, Playwright JS/TS, and API testing (RestSharp, HttpClient).

I was moved to training/bench with no interviews.

Manager says I’m not project-ready; new manager avoids queries.

With ~400 on bench and projects needing 1+ year experience, I feel stuck.

1. How hard is switching now?
2. Can I move to dev roles?
3. Do Azure/Databricks certs help?

This is my first job in a large corporate company, and I’m trying to gauge how long it normally takes to move from entry level to another internal position in the insurance industry. I have been applying internally for a year now and I am wondering if this is normal or if my company is just slow? I am a top performer, with great metrics, and I have some wonderful connections I’ve made who support me. I just can’t seem to move up. How long did it take you to move up? How many tries did it take?

I have an interview coming up with Church & Dwight. When the recruiter emailed me with 3 interview times I thought he was asking me what time works best. Turns out he was telling me I was scheduled for 3 different interviews for 3 different teams in one day. Has anyone heard of a company doing that or gone through this for an interview? It seems odd to me

Anyone in consulting and doing OE? Using bench time for J2+ seems like a good opportunity in this environment, considering it wouldn’t look out of place to remain on the bench for quite a while

Lately people keep asking me why am I not in a relationship. It's not that I don't want to be in a relationship. Ive been single for years and used to it I guess. Joined LTI recently in P3 band. However not allocated any project. Got a call from the resource management team to relocate, which I rejected upfront as I was promised a role in the location I am posted. It has been over 2 weeks since I am in bench. What shall be the next steps, shall I wait for some days or start looking for other jobs as getting a project looks difficult as there are minimalist responses.
