I’m applying for an Associate role at the newly established A&M office in Europe and have a case interview scheduled in the next 2–3 weeks. HR mentioned that the interviews will be conducted by the PEPI team and will last around 2 hours, which seems longer than case interviews at other consultancies.

Could anyone provide insights into how Alvarez & Marsal case interviews differ from those at other firms? Any tips on what I should focus on to prepare effectively?

I am trying to explore and obtain a career opportunity in UK or Europe. Could you all help me with how to go about it or any suggestion how to get an interview and move to UK for work.

Some recruiter in Accenture lined me up for an interview for a role which was not in my skillset ( by saying that this is just an evaluation exercise and they will map me to the right role) and obviously I got rejected. Now I see that I am not eligible to apply the role which I was targeting for the next 6 months. Any idea how can I get this escalated so that the recruiter ( Accenture employee) should at least be careful in future before fooling a noob like me?

Interviewed with Chicago court 2 weeks ago; they decide mid-August. Interviewed with DC judge last week; hear from him by this Friday. Chicago said if I need an answer before August, they'd try to make a decision about me sooner.
Should I ask Chicago for an answer? Or should I wait until there's an offer from DC judge? Maybe seems better to withdraw before an offer is made rather than ask for time to think about it/turn down DC? What's proper etiquette?

Anyone here choose between A&M, Alix, and some other usual suspect consulting companies? What made you pick A&M? Do employees generally tend to stick around? How is the culture, decent folks or sharp elbows everywhere? Is the total comp as good as advertised or is this false advertising? I have offers from A&M and Alix and Strat& and am trying to decide soon. Not just looking at comp, but looking to work hard at a place where I can learn a lot too and like the people around me.
