Hi everyone, I’m interviewing for a remote position for telemedicine, advertised as 7 on/7 off, shifts are 7-3 PM or 3-11 PM, they have multiple clinics around the state (Florida), from my understanding it’s a service for employees and their families. I have a list of questions to ask but I’m wondering what a fair salary would be? I’m currently doing locum. Thanks!

For expert witnesses/lawyers

I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. From that conversation, I saw instant red flags. Any thoughts?
