Ok, I’m gonna say this. Schools should open. Now hear me out. My wife is a family doctor, she is working insane hours, she is treating covid patients, and there is a lot of days when she has to stay at the hospital without coming home. My neighbour works in a local grocery store, so he has been at work since the Day 1 of lockdown. I genuinely think I’m on the brink of quitting. Nope, I have no exit plan, no job searches started, not even an updated resume. But I do have three 4:00 AM-ers in the last 8 days, partners telling me to *increase* my hours, and anxiety that’s so high I can barely eat or sleep. My body is physically breaking down from a year of high stress and I’ve been on the brink of a panic attack for the last four days. My client is too small to have an HRIS or electronic document storage/collection. Thinking of using a shared Google Drive but worry about how confidential/locked down that will be. Is firm travel back up to pre covid levels?

Having a moment and wanted to make a post. I lost a special family member suddenly in April 2020. And then another July 2020. And then the most influential person in my life in February 2021. And then another big loss in April 2022. I’m still grieving. Every single day. Some days are better than others. I’ve had heightened anxiety and depression with it. My heart hurts all of the time. I miss them all so much. Some days just seem to be better than others.

Just here to say I’m so thankful we have this safe space. People who aren’t diagnosed generally have misconceptions about ADHD and its symptoms, and I’m so grateful we have this bowl to seek help, learn from one another, and sometimes just vent!
