Hi everyone, I'm looking to transition careers to Salesforce. I have a 2nd interview for a Salesforce consultancy and this round is a 1.5hr assessment with 1 hr to build out a demo and then 30 mins to present and respond to client questions. For anyone who has done an interview like this before what advice can you give me about how to prepare? I have not had hands-on Salesforce work experience aside from trailhead.

Didnt have to do a case study / demo at slalom. Just personality and basic questions about the platform
I have not had a similar interview but I am in Salesforce myself and I’d assume they’re looking at your data modeling abilities. So look into that as well as relationships. Which relationship to use and why. Also, make sure to ask them lots of questions when building your case. GL!
That is too much to ask of a candidate. Good luck 👍
For any demos you present, the focus is more on your capabilities around naration of a business problem, its business impact and relating a solution that you have defined and configured. In most of the scenarios. you can pick your use case (confirm with your recruiter), it can be a simple use case, but the approach is what matters and offcourse there might be questions around why you picked a certain solution over other, in case of multiple options. All the best!
