Hi everyone, new here. I read a lot of genres.,mostly science or fantasy fiction (not fan fic 😂). Anyone here read similar genres? Right now I'm rereading the Dresden files and the Iron Druid books. Next up is probably David Weber's Honor Harrington novels.

I recently discovered the "Just Thinking" podcast, dealing with social and cultural issues through a Christian lense. Started with an episode recommended by a friend, then just HAD to go back to episode one and start listening all the way through. So appreciate the work the Lord is doing through these gentlemen.

Hello folks, I’m after some advice please. I recently bought a couple of indoor plants and added to the cart what I think is a very expensive bottle of natural mist to use on the leaves. All organic, glass bottle etc. supposed to use it 2-3 times per week but 2 weeks in I’m down to half a bottle and it was £15 (approx $20). I understand that I need to nurture the plants but it strikes me as a rather expensive mist. Is there anything you’d recommend I can use instead? Thanks.

Hello fishes, I am UI UX designer currently drawing 7.2 LPA with 1.7 years of experience. Recently got an offer of 9 LPA with 1 lakh JB from a startup which is only 25% hike, stating that I have only 1.7 years of experience. Am I getting low balled ?

Why is it that when ever I look at “entry level” jobs in IT they always want 2-4 years of experience. It’s entry level that means maybe some certifications if they didn’t major in the field or a degree in the field. Not 2-4 years already working in the field. Can someone please explain this to me?

Networking: I’m trying to build a network with MBB employees but I’m searching for roles in another country where I’ve got minimal school connections. Should I start by building a network in my home country and ask them if they can put me in touch with someone in my target location? As I am close to finishing Deep Work, I am thinking about how to apply its strategies in my own work. Deep Work sounds like I can reduce my overall time spent at work by 25-50% because of all the extra gobbly goo that goes on in corporate bloat. Has anyone done that? What are your thoughts on deep work methods?
