I’m graduating in December, with a background in environmental economics and policy. Consulting didn’t work out this cycle. Made it to final rounds for Bain and Kearney but in the end didn’t get an offer. I want to recoup and try again, but I’m worried that once I’m out of undergrad the door will be closed to starting in consulting.

What can I do to make this happen? I have friends and connections at Bain and Kearney and the other firms as well, but not sure if it’s feasible now.

I had a first interview last Tuesday with Amazon, which I think went well, although I still haven't heard back 6 days later and then got an OOO annual leave msg and a no response when I chased up the named colleague today. Is this typical behaviour others have experienced when dealing with the big tech company recruiters? I've been working here for over a year and my associate basically never does a thing. I get I'm the analyst but I'm the only one on my team. I pull together every page.

My associate does minimal reviewing, if even, usually it goes straight to my vp. And even my vp has pulled pages together.

Mine’s the hours, which is not normally my issue. I billed 230 for June and July and am already at 145 for August. My ability to focus is getting worse by the day, so I’m working longer to bill the same hours and have had to pull a couple all nighters. Hi Fishes, I've nearly 2.5 YoE in SAP Basis module and I'm not able to figure things out. We were initially trained on ABAP but then told we would work on Basis. But, on seeing the scare no. of Job postings on Job sites and the difficulty in switching jobs. It seems to be a difficult thing going ahead with Basis. Can anyone advise me?
