Additional Posts in Offer Negotiations
Hello folks, I joined Harman on 3rd Oct with a total ctc of 27lpa but I got a higher total ctc of 29.5lpa on Monday. I asked the Harman hr to reconsider & revise my ctc & either match it or provide a JB. Hr told me that she sent my case for a JB request but it has been denied it seems. I told her that I want to speak to her manager & request to reconsider either my ctc or provide me with a JB. Please advise on how do I proceed on this request. Any suggestions would be helpful. TIA.

Hi Fishes, Is Tietoevry a good company wrt WLB, Culture and Benefits? Have multiple offers need some inputs which will help to choose right one. One offer is +3LPA what Tietoevry offered. Will it worth if I choose Tietoevry. Please help me with your valuable thoughts.
TIA

It's not worthy to join the company for just 50k hike... Atleast go for 30% hike, this is the minimum.
Give more interviews and negotiate.
Sure, will see that

I am expecting atleast a 40% hike from the bigger company in the coming months!
But then i dnt want to stay home for 2 months just bcz i m getting an opportunity to work for a bigger firm!
So i was planning to work there only for 2 months, until i get my joining date for the bigger company!
Had to leave TCS due to some family emergencies, and finances have bcome a very critical part these days!
Do you guys think i should just wait the months oht to try and look for better offer elsewhere?
Where i could bag more bigger package than just the 40% one?

When did you leave tcs ? It depends on for how long you have been out of work as well ..and your YOE

It would not be a problem for you to leave if the np period is 30 days or less , but i don't feel that you should try to abscond as they are risky .
Another option is keep looking for more opportunities, immediate joiners are always in demand if they have the knowledge
What's your YOE ?
I would suggest look for more opportunities
So, I'd say that if a micro company doesn't offer an EPFO account you can join that,. And once you get another offer just dump them.
I know it's unethical, but so what company did to you.
If that company has EPFO linked, I suggest you to get retained into TCS, prepare well and switch after a few months.
If both are not possible, and you are sure that the Bigger company will give you an offer 100% ( that's too risky) you can wait, but prepare for another interviewes and get better offers
Now it's your mistake, you resigned from TCS for only 50k ! Or maybe it's your tough luck that you didn't get a better offer in your notice period.
