Seeking advice: I am a young sales consultant and sales engineer working for a tech startup company. I have 6 years of sales experience. And I have been helping run my family business for the past 10 years. I was intially interviewed for a senior account executive position at a $70k offer. Instead they told me I needed more training and hired me as a Junior account executive at a $50k salary + commission. Today is my 6th month mark and I have done very well. And no talks of a promotion / raise..
Anyone a Workplace Planning Consultant with Fidelity? Would love to ask a few questions to gauge if I want to accept a job offer Fidelity Investments
I might be getting the opportunity to start my career straight out of my Masters in CS as a solutions architect/sales engineer at a pretty well known fortune 500 company (not faang). My understanding is that this is a unique opportunity because most technical sales engineer roles want 5 years of experience. I feel that I may be pigeonholing myself into this role due to my lack of experience. I have other offers to consider for more technical roles and wondering what route I should take.

Is it ok to share your CTC with recruiter when they are not comfortable to share their salary range for the post they are hiring. Due to this many times we are less paid than our colleague as HR consider our previous ctc to provide hike while hiring.

Here are two areas for you to consider -
Research - since you are already into Market Research, you can learn how to leverage research and analysis to help product leaders on their product strategies. In this case, products mean anything from platforms to solutions to services.
Analyst Relations - this is a very niche yet critical function for growing and large organisations. Having an eye for research will help you engage with the right analysts, and build the right positioning for your organization.
