Outside of FAANG, what are good large CA-based tech companies that provide good pay, WLB, and culture? DD has great people and WLB, but pay is low and you’re not given the tools and resources to succeed + truly make an impact. Google and Apple are ideal but need backups. Like is Salesforce still good? A company along those lines.

How realistic is it to land an AD position as a fresh grad (with a doctorates) and a handful of pharma & FDA interships? Context: I'll have over a year of (consistent) work experience at a large pharma company and I have prior leadership/mgt experience (< 10 yrs) in a gov't role prior to changing careers and pursuing a doctorates.

Without having the formal education or PM experience, only my 5 years in QA experience. When I started I made $65k and have jumped to $78k. I have seen other companies post $100k+. Really confused. Recently I moved from India to Europe for long term deputation. I also got an offer letter matching onsite salary from India. Can I resign from current company? Or I need to stay onsite for some time.

Guys I got Canada WP and stamping is also done. I am traveling on 21st May. But in recent lottery draw of H1B, I got selected and my USA H1B visa is also in process (petition is not yet submitted, currently its in documentation status).

So my question is will I be able to travel to Canada? Can I complete rest of visa process from Canada? Interview and stamping all can be done from there? Please guide me on this.

I am working as a Java developer with about 2.2 YOE . My package according to me is too low of 5.1 LPA with 50K variable pay. Any suggestions how much package I can get at this experience level and how to achieve that. I am currently working on servlets and jsp.
