I have been working as a senior BA in a non-WITCH services company post my MBA from a tier 2 college and coming up on about 3.5 years of experience post MBA. I am earning 21 LPA in Bangalore and recently been offered an opportunity to move to San Jose but with an offer of USD 80k.

I am certain I am being lowballed and want to negotiate, what would be the number to push for and what could be some credible sources and references I could use to make my case.

I have 3.11 years of experience as ServiceNow Developer.
With hands-on implementation of ITSM, CSM modules including integrations, good in scripting, virtual agent, flows.
Also ServiceNow certified implementation specialist - discovery (ITOM) and Certified system administrator.

Anyone lateraled at the 2-4 year mark from boutique (40ish lawyers, corporate lit work on same level as biglaw, making top NY pay) to v100? Can you say anything about the experience? The reason I’m considering is while boutique is generally a good place for me as an associate (NY pay, reasonable WLB, good experience on many fronts) there’s basically zero shot at making partner.

I've been exploring exit opportunities for a few months and still holding out for the right opportunity. However, I've had A LOT of recruiters reach out to me for positions that are way below my current salary. They do the whole "your background and expertise is exactly what we're looking for" then turn around and offer a salary range that is 20k below my current level. My resume clearly says I've got 10yrs experience and an MBA. I **don't think* I should be getting offers of 80k-100k
